Case Study: Evaluation of DBS Samples and Plasma in Fasted versus Fed States
DBS cards show strong metabolic coverage, capturing ~94% of the metabolites detected also in plasma. Our comparison revealed 2,320 overlapping metabolites. This high overlap highlights DBS as a reliable alternative for biologically relevant metabolomics.
